Wish.

Word of advice:

Never buy songs using your iTouch.

They will not transfer to your computer.

THEREFORE,

if you want that song on your computer (for various reasons, the main one being that you also want to transfer that song on your Nano),

you'll have to buy it again.

Someone's not too happy about that right now.

On the bright side, my buddy can now say my name. :)

Bloopers for this post:

Word of advice:

LOOK at who you're talking to! Once you leave this school, no one projects, or cheats out.

CUT!

Take 2:

Word of advice:

If you're sad at night, and you sing in your bed, PEOPLE CAN HEAR YOU. EVERYONE CAN HEAR YOU.

CUT!
oh gosh.

yes, I'm silly. ;)

My 200th Post! But I'm not doing anything special for it. haha!

What is your problem? Do you need some confirmation in your life? Well, obviously you're not getting it. And if you are, then you're greedy. geeaaaaaaAAAAAAAHHHH! Are you trying to make a statement? NO ONE CARES. Serious. You drive me insane. (Sorry- you guys get enough of these rants from me. So I kept this one short. And small!)

Dude, I love my job. I really do! There are some awesome people there that always give me something to smile or laugh about! haha! I love it. :)

Hey Soul Sister. Fallin For You. Just Haven't Met You Yet. Fireflies. Down.

Guess what? I'm not over it.

Also: Dance Forever. LOVE it. :)

(and for the record, I just realized that my 200th post is all colorful. I seriously didn't do that on purpose! I laughed at myself. haha!)

"It was the spandex!" ;)

OK. Cutest thing I've seen for a while. Watch this. :)

Also:

To be honest, I hated my job at the beginning of the summer. I really did. I hated my shift. I didn't want to have a phone job. I thought I was going to suck. Getting time off is a frustrating(ish) process. I just hated everything about it. I thought it was going to ruin my summer.

But... I kept an open mind, because I knew that the only way this job would completely ruin my summer if I let it. So I tried not to dread going to work every day.

Actually, it turns out that I actually really like this job. I made a friend. My supervisor is AWESOME. All of the supervisors are awesome. And a couple days ago, I was asked to stay an extra hour to help take calls and I said I would, even though I kinda didn't want to.... I also offered to help cover 30 min of another agent's shift for another day. My supervisor wrote back to me:

"Thanks for staying tonight! You are seriously one of my favorite people (not only because you cover hours - that is just a plus) :)."

It totally made my day! And then that night in that extra hour I stayed, they bought us (dA nIGHT cREW- which is relatively few in numbers) pizza cause we were busy and we were doing a good job. This day was kind of a turnaround point for me. I was already tolerating my job more than I did at the beginning, but this started turning "tolerating" into "liking."

Then came Saturday. My Saturday shifts are now 8 hours, and I thought it was going to be KILLER. And it was, but it wasn't. But in the last hour, I was kinda zombified. Plus, I was getting like 2 and 3 minutes in between calls, which are HUGE breaks for me. So then I get this email asking if I wanted to leave early (cause we were slow) and even though by this point I was actually kinda starting to like work, it's always nice to go home early and play with my little brothers. :) I was excited!

So, I've been happy at work. I have good associations there. Even when I don't get super sweet emails or pizza or let off early, it's really not that bad for me anymore. And today's my day off and it doesn't feel like some rare ray of sunshine in the midst of a storm. (haha! Trying to sound overly dramatic here, guys!) I mean I still love days off, but knowing that I have to go back in tomorrow doesn't upset me at all. yay! It took the span of like 2 months, but I actually really like my job! I know, right? Crazy! But I do! :)

I also really love my family! And we've been having lots of fun lately. :)

I love this kid! :)

I've been cleaning my room, and I found some chalk! So we've been playing with it. This was a request from one of my Texas peeps. haha!

I am a rockstar. ;)

Also a superhero. Or a volleyball server, whichever it looks more like. ;)

Daniel's Daniel. And that basically equals awesome. :)

Another request, but this is the one that caused the other request. haha!

Anyway, her name will be Ryder Sierra. I think it's pretty. Like a desert flower. :)

I love the desert. :)

Little Wonders :)

Ok 1st: I. have. let's call them interesting... dreams.

Second. The process of the demolition of Orem High has officially started. Time for my memory post! (but feel free to mosey around my blog still- I've been blogging quite a lot lately and you'll probably see a few new ones!)

Sophomore Year
  1. Weight lifting class. Yup, I was stRONG. And flexible. I used to hide from someone in this class all the time! And my dear friend would help me! haha, oh I love her!
  2. Once, I fell asleep in US History. BUT... I had forgotten stuff at home, which my parents were going to bring to me... My stuff came to the classroom, and I was unconscious. Oh dear!!! I woke up to a mass of books falling on my desk! oh dear. ;)
  3. Once before a band concert, I was walking down the halls with some amigos, swinging my flute around, and BAM! The head came out and flew against a wall. yeah... smart. It dented! Right before I was supposed to go on! We went into a bathroom and put it under the hand dryer to see if we could bend it back, but we were unsuccessful. We were on our way back to the band room when we saw another friend and he fixed it for me! haha- what an adventure!
Junior Year (BIG memories!)
  1. Ok, where do I start? How about JS? hahahahahahaha!! Collecting every newspaper I saw? And Computer Tech!! And Makayle! Oh gosh- details are not for my blog but I CAN'T write about Junior without my JS obsessions!
  2. And how about my first date? Sadies. Even under certain circumstances, it was SO. fun!
  3. Second date- Preference! Also super fun!
  4. Summer after Junior year- SOAR!! (not technically Orem High, but whatever!)
  5. A.P. CHEMISTRY. OH my gosh. Worst class of my life! Worst grades since 7th grade. But I liked the people in it, and we had fun once the test was over! :)
  6. Lake Powell. I wrote a paper about why we shouldn't drain it and then realized my hatred for the Sierra Club. This paper has definitely impacted my life! haha!
  7. PE ACTIVITIES!!!!!!!! I. love. that. class. So much that I took it again my senior year!
  8. Once, I was totally fighting to stay awake in Gov & Cit. Miner notices. He asks me a question, and I TOTALLY NAIL IT!!! booyah. hahaha!! :)
  9. INTERIOR DESIGN!! I wanted to major in interior design after taking this class, but then was informed that BYU just got rid of that program. la-ha-hame.
  10. I gained a sister-in-law! AND got to go to California!!! LOVED it. I always do. :)
  11. I was enchanted by Enchanted!
  12. And who could forget the HANNAH CONCERT! Oh yes. :)
Senior Year: BEST YEAR EVER. This will have to be just a list because there are so many!
  • Football games.
  • Rocky/Chin Watch.
  • Swiss Movie.
  • Ukulele!!!!!!!!!
  • AP Music.... I actually didn't like that class a lot... but it was for different reasons, not because I don't love music. Cause HELLO. Music is a huge part of my life. Piano. Uke. Dancing. Singing at the top of my lungs in my car. You think I don't like it? But total redemption moment: I GOT A 5 ON THAT AP TEST!!!! baby. :)
  • AP ENGLISH!!!!!!! best. class.
  • Speaking of redemption: ARGUS! I won 3rd place in photography! See beach picture on the side of my blog. :)
  • Spotlight in Current Issues!
  • Preference: WAY fun!
  • CHINESE!!!!!!!!!
  • Seminary!!!

Yoga. That's it.

So. What Not To Wear? LOVE that show. Right now, I'm watching an episode that I thought I would NEVER see. There's a GUY!!! ON THE SHOW!!! Just wanted you to know. ;)

You know what? Be you, be genuine, don't fake it. Cause let me tell you a little secret: people can tell. (HA! This line just came into my head: "And when you're sad at night, and you sing in your bed, PEOPLE CAN HEAR YOU. EVERYONE CAN HEAR YOU.") Seriously, your insincerity sickens me. It really does. Like I'm really not just saying that. You've lost it. You've totally lost your sense of self. I have NO idea who the freak you are. And YOU don't even know who you are. Seriously my friend, I think you should isolate yourself for at LEAST a day. No phone. No people. No computer. No iPod. Just you. Read your scriptures, write in your journal, pray, do what you gotta do. But you've got to dig WAY deeper under all that crap that fits so well on everyone else and bring yourself out, because I am sick and tired of watching you try and be... whatever it is you're trying to be. It seems to change often. You've lost yourself in this desperate endeavor trying to be everything and everyone, and I'm really interested to find out who you really are. Let me know when you remember who you are. (and this was WAY longer than intended. But seriously- it's been driving me crazy for a while. haha- you know me. :) )

Don't judge me. You don't know me. You don't know my friends, or my family. So do NOT stick your nose up at me, say I'm not normal, and treat me that way. And ESPECIALLY do NOT do that to my family, OR my friends. I'll take whatever you got, but you leave them alone. Okay? And then I'll "FETCHING" kick your trash. I don't want to be so mean, but you don't have to be so mean either, k? Cause I don't even know you. And you don't know me. So cool it.

Magic exists. :) I can't explain it, I can't describe it, but it's there, dude. I wish for you to experience it! I want to could show you how it feels! I wish you could know what goes on inside of me sometimes. Once I figure how to do that, I'll let you know. :)

My Happy Place. :)

Arizona.

One of my biggest regrets in life?

Not knowing how to work hard when I was in 9th grade.

That's when I went to pitching camp.

If I would have given it everything I had, no one would have been able to touch me.

I would have been amazing.

I would have loved it.

I wouldn't have this regret.

I love softball. LOVE it. I wish I would have been good. I wish I had tried harder. I wish I would have hit a home run. I wish it would have been my thing.

I wish it would have been my thing.

Alicia Hollowell.

Jennie Finch.

They are my GIRLZ.

I wish I could have been more like them.

oh well.

Ain't nothing I can do now, really. Softball after high school isn't as intense, unless you're a superstar playing for a college team.

One thing's for sure: If I had been a pitcher, I would have been wicked amazing, and Arizona would have given me a full-ride scholarship. I would have gone there to play, no doubt. In a heartbeat. Just like Jennie Finch and Alicia Hollowell.

dude... if all of this is because I'm meant to meet my future husband over here, then OH. MAN. He BETTER be amazing.

just sayin.

;)

Demi. :)

Ok I lied.

On Tuesday, Orem High was supposed to be demolished. It still stands. I think it will happen on Thursday. So I was like, "Ok, I'll just save the memories post for the day it's demolished," which I still intend to do! But going forever without blogging kinda made me antsy. So here's a little in between post!

Today, my brain seriously EXPLODED!!!! Like I had SO much stuff going through there ranging from photography major to pictures with meaning to 6 impossible things to my testimony to self improvement to things I feel strongly about to you name it! If you know me, you know that my brain can get pretty loaded on a daily basis, and that's normal. Normally, I have all kinds of thoughts going through my head at all times. Like carbonated grapes or guys with blue eyes or a piano so big that you have to jump on the keys to play it. (That would be SO fun! I think of playing my fugue on it. hahahaha! Oh goodness I played my fugue on the organ at my church once at like 1:0o in the morning – long story – and it was so cool!) Ok, do you see what I mean? Yeah. If you spent one day in my brain, ...good luck, Charlie. ;) But today was like, INSANO CRAZY PSYCHO EXPLOSION!! Like, I would be thinking about one thing that could potentially have me thinking about it all day, and then something else of equal intensity would pop up! And then I'd be trying to balance the two things and then a third thing would come and it just kept going and going and going and going! And I was like, "I HAVE to blog about this!" But then I didn't know what to blog about! Because if I blogged about everything, then it would be a super long post! So I have to break it up! But I just wanted to write a new post! So be prepared for a lot of posts over the next week! :)

Sometimes, I like to run behind waterfalls with my awesome ward. :)
